Everything is flowering, even things we put in a month ago. We've had wind rain and sun, so I guess it's been perfect for growing,
It's been a full year for us all who come to the gardens, getting use to managing such a big garden has bought me many challenges and delights, but over the year we have produced much, we have done lots to improve our soil and I think the biggest change has been the amount of compost we have been able to make which is certainly putting more body into our soils.
Also the amount of Volunteers this Spring and Summer has increased and it shows in the gardens.
So take a stroll through our garden as it is today 4 days before the end of the 2014 year.

Seeded lettuce, but lovely Zucchini in background. We will plant up again in January for a last summer planting.
Corn towering away and our Feijoa bushes flowering to the sun
Do you remember our Potato Tower that we built back in October. Look at it now end of December WOW!
Our 2 Kumera beds and beside them we have 2 beds of replanted potatoes that someone had to dig up. We are giving them a chance to take root again in their new home. I'll let you know how they go.
To finish here are our raspberries loving looked after by Karen, Had a few for Xmas but lots more to come.
So with that picture show of how our gardens are doing at the end of 2014. I wish you all a very abundant gardening year for 2015. And a BIG THANK YOU to all of you who volunteered in our gardens to make it such a beautiful place to be for all of us and all the many who walk through there daily.
May 2015 bring us new learning and growth and may we take time to sit and enjoy the beauty of the area in which we garden.
Sincerely
